Our Mandate

The Hollywood North Film Festival (HNFF) is a non-profit organization focused on bringing quality films, workshops & networking events to the Bay of Quinte Region. Via the annual festival, we hope to re-establish what was once in the 1920’s, a vibrant and flourishing filmmaking area. Today, we once again have a growing artistic community that we believe can be brought together through the presence of film.

Our Objectives

- Foster and re-establish a vibrant filmmaking community via the annual festival

- Showcase great films from around the world and support our local filmmakers

- Bring quality films, events and networking opportunities to the region

Our Community Involvement

Canadian Mental Health Association: Hastings and Prince Edward Branch

- As part of the 2019 festival, we're proud to be raising funds for the local branch of the CMHA. We'll be presenting the documentary HUMBOLDT: THE NEW SEASON with admission by donation. 100% of funds raised will go directly to the organization who provides numerous critical services for our community.

Loyalist College: Film & TV Production

- We proud to sponsor one of the Sparkie Awards: Best Performance in a Major Production. This is an award given our at the end of every school year at the college. The winner of the award receive two VIP passes to that year's festival.
